I am living with relatives since 2006. Have rented a community garden since 2001. And last summer I bought an old 1985 Chevy truck with a canopy. I am ready for a summer of fishing and camping. I don't know much about fishing except that I need a license. That will run me about $24. I have been studying how to make flies in books at the library.
Now that our economy has gone south I have more company. Just this morning examples of people surviving. One family moved back into the parents home to save that home and pay the morgage. Two families and a single brother and sister.
My oldest daughter just moved to her fathe's house in Missouri with her little girl. Because she lost her job and was tired of imposing on friends. She was laid off in January. So how to survive?
The Forestry has been trying to get people to use the campsites here in Oregon during the winter months. The yurts and cabins have heaters and there is bathroom and shower facilities.
